A mid-sized construction company in Jeju City facing financial difficulties has been the cause of a series of large-scale public works projects, such as road maintenance, to be halted.

According to Jeju Province, halted projects include the Pyeongdae(평대) Natural Disaster Risk Improvement Project, the Donam-dong(도남동) public parking construction, and the urban road planned to connect Jeju Joongang Middle School and Onam(오남) Road.


Jeju City previously advanced 1 billion won to this company and currently, some of the projects have stalled and remain inactive.


Additionally, the company has been reported of facing significant financial difficulties, exacerbated by unsold apartments.

제주중앙중과 오남로간 도시계획도로 개설 공사 등입니다.

특히 제주시는
이 업체에 10억원의 선급금을 지급한 바 있고
현재 일부 공사는
지지부진한 상태속에 멈춰선 것으로 알려지고 있습니다.

한편 해당 건설업체는
최근 아파트 미분양 사태로
심각한 자금난을 겪어온 것으로 전해졌습니다.
