Jeju City will permanently implement the disposable cup deposit return system, which has been in pilot operation since April.

When disposables are returned to a recycling assistance center, participants will receive one 10-liter garbage bag for every five cups returned excluding their 300 won deposit.

During the pilot operation in April, over 2,600 residents participated, returning approximately 42,000 cups to the centers, and approximately 7,500 garbage bags were distributed.

시범운영 기간인 지난 4월 한달 동안
2천600여 명의 시민이 참여해
4만 2천여 개의 컵이
재활용도움센터에 반납됐고
7천 500여 장의 종량제봉투가 지급됐습니다.
