The Jeju Provincial Office of Education is implementing a program to create songs in the Jeju language as part of its Jeju language education initiative.

The Jeju language song-making program will run until September and involves five elementary schools, two middle schools, and three high schools across the province.

The education consists of writing lyrics in Jeju language, learning melodies, and includes recording sessions with student participation.

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education also plans to organize a Jeju language song festival to showcase the students' creations.

도내 초등학교 5개교와
중학교 2개교, 고등학교 3개교에서 참여합니다.

교육은
제주어로 가사쓰기와 멜로디 익히기,
그리고 실제 학생들이 참여하는
녹음하기 등의 프로그램으로 진행됩니다.

학생들의 작품 결과물을 발표하는
제주어노래 한마당도 마련할 예정입니다.
