Due to the impact of abnormal climate conditions, onions, following garlic, have suffered growth damage and have been recognized as an agricultural disaster.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has recognized onion growth disorders as an agricultural disaster and directed five local governments, including Jeju, to investigate the damage by the 3rd of next month.

According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs, the onions showed poor growth after transplanting due to high temperatures, frequent rainfall, and lack of sunlight.

일조량 부족 등으로 생육 부진이 발생한 것으로 나타났습니다.
