Jeju Province and China's Hainan Province Forge Stronger Ties with New Collaboration and Workation Initiatives.

At the recent Jeju Forum on the 29th, Governors Oh Young-hun of Jeju and Liu Xiaoming of Hainan discussed new collaborative approaches across culture, arts, economy, emerging industries, and human exchanges.

At the meeting, Governor Liu Xiaoming mentioned that next year marks the 30th anniversary of the sisterhood relationship with Jeju and expressed hope for further activation of economic, human, and cultural exchanges.

Furthermore, Governor Liu noted that the "Consumer Expo," one of China’s top five exhibitions, is set for next April. He emphasized the significant benefits of establishing a Jeju booth at the event to showcase local products.

이 자리에서 류샤오밍 하이난 성장은
내년이면 제주도와의 자매결연이 30년을 맞게 된다며
경제와 인적, 문화적 교류를
더욱 활성화하길 기대한다고 말했습니다.

또 중국 5대 전시박람회 가운데 하나인 '소비박람회'가
내년 4월 열릴 예정이라며
제주 코너를 만들어 상품을 전시하면
큰 도움이 될 것이라며 강조했습니다.

이에 대해 오영훈 지사는 감사의 뜻을 전하며
오는 10월 예정인 탐라문화제 기간에
하이난성의 문화예술 공연단을 초청하기도 했습니다.
