The Jeju April 3 Incident Task Force recently convened to discuss and make decisions concerning the 612 victims and their families, including 201 compensation evaluations and one family relationship correction, as outlined in the 8th supplementary report.

Recommendations have been forwarded to the central committee for review. Approximately 19,000 applicants were received, and assessments for half of them have been conducted so far. Plans are to complete the review process by the first half of the year.

Additionally, compensation evaluations have been performed for 5,000 out of the 8,400 received so far, which accounts for 60%.
The Jeju April 3 Task Force holds monthly meetings to carry out evaluations for the surviving victims and their families.

가족관계 정정 1명에 대해 의결하고
중앙위원회에 심의 결정을 요청했습니다.

8차 추가 신고를 통해 접수된 신청인은 1만 9천여명으로 현재까지
절반에 대한 심사가 이뤄졌으며
올 상반기까지 마무리한다는 계획입니다.

또 보상금 심사는
현재까지 접수된 8천 400명 가운데 60%인 5천명에 대해 이뤄졌습니다.
