The unsold housing stock within the province has exceeded 2,800 units for the first time, exacerbating the backlog issue.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the number of unsold housing units in the province reached a record high of 2,837 units in April, a 14.2% increase from the previous month.

The number of unsold units classified as severe, post-completion, also rose slightly by 0.2% to 1,241 units, marking a record high for the fourth consecutive month.

In April, the number of housing transactions in the province was 514, which represents a 3.6% decrease from a month earlier.
