It has been revealed that the automatic alarm system was disabled during the Dream Tower fire, leading to an investigation.

In response, the fire authorities will conduct a comprehensive inspection of automatic fire alarm systems across the province. The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters will urgently inspect the automatic fire alarm systems at 190 of the 430 sites. In addition, they plan to accept dismantling requests for the 220 sites if deemed necessary.

Additionally, regarding the Dream Tower fire, an investigation will be conducted by the end of this week to determine how the system was turned off and whether it was intentional. Depending on the findings, the case may be forwarded to the prosecution.

The fire at Dream Tower on June 9th resulted in a 17-minute delay in the fire report due to the malfunctioning of the automatic fire alarm system.

이와 함께 드림타워 화재건은 이번주까지 경보 설비를 누가 언제 껐는지, 그리고 고의성은 있었는지 등을 수사해 검찰 송치 여부를 결정할 방침입니다.
지난 9일 드림타워에서 화재가 발생했지만 자동 화재 속보 설비가 작동되지 않아 소방 신고가 17분 지연됐습니다.
