Jeju City, in collaboration with the Jeju Community Chest of Korea, will launch a fundraising campaign to support energy-vulnerable groups until July 15th.

During the campaign, the Community Chest will match citizen donations made through Jeju City.

The collected funds will be used to provide cooling costs and cooling items to those in need.

Last year, the Jeju Community Chest of Korea supported around 3,400 households, including those of grandparents and disabled individuals, with approximately 490 million KRW through the energy assistance program for vulnerable groups.



제주시, 에너지 취약계층 지원 나눔 캠페인 추진

제주시가 제주사회복지공동모금회와 함께 다음달 15일까지 에너지 취약 계층 지원을 위한 나눔 캠페인을 추진합니다.
이번 캠페인 기간에 시민이 제주시를 통해 기부하면 사회복지공동모금회가 모금액을 1대 1로 지원해 재원을 마련하고 마련된 모금액은
에너지 취약 계층에게 냉방비와 냉방물품으로 지원됩니다.
한편 제주사회복지공동모금회는 지난해 취약계층 에너지 지원 사업을 통해 조손 또는 장애인 3천400여 가구에 4억 9천여 만원을 지원했습니다.
