Jeju has the second-highest number of five-star hotels in South Korea, following Seoul.

According to the Korea Tourism Association, there are 87 five-star hotels in the country, of which 20, accounting for 23%, are located in Jeju.

This is the second largest number after Seoul, which has 33.

Tourist hotels, family hotels, boutique hotels, and traditional Korean hotels are evaluated every three years on safety, hygiene, and service, and are rated from one to five stars.

국내 5성급 호텔은 모두 87개로
이 가운데 23%인 20개가 제주에 있습니다.

이는 33개를 보유한 서울에 이어
전국에서 두 번째로 많은 숫자입니다.

관광호텔과 가족호텔, 소형호텔, 한국전통호텔 등은 3년마다 한 번씩 안전, 위생, 서비스 등의 평가를 거쳐
1성급에서 5성급까지 등급을 받습니다.
