This month, apartment prices in Jeju continue to decline, while the nationwide trend shows a clear increase.

According to the Korea Real Estate Board, the sale prices of apartments in Jeju fell by 0.03%, and the rental prices by 0.02%, in the first week of the month compared to the previous week.

In contrast, the national average apartment sale prices rose by 0.03%, and rental prices by 0.05%, showing an increasing trend.

The real estate industry analyzes that high interest rates and economic recession have weakened buying sentiment, and in Jeju, the sharp increase in unsold homes is contributing to the continued decline in housing prices.

이달 들어서도 제주지역 아파트 가격이 내림세를 유지한 반면 전국은 상승세가 뚜렷해지고 있습니다.

한국부동산원에 따르면 이달 첫째주 제주도내 아파트 매매가격은 전주 대비 0.03%, 전세가격은 0.02% 각각 하락했습니다.

반면 전국 평균 아파트 매매가격은 0.03%, 전세가격은 0.05% 오르는 등 상승폭을 키우고 있습니다.

부동산 업계는 고금리와 경기 침체로 매수심리가 위축됐고 제주의 경우 미분양 주택이 급증하면서 주택 가격 하락세가 지속되고 있는 것으로 분석했습니다.
