Modified Delivery Fee Refund Program ‘Hit’


Since September of last year, a program has been in place to support additional delivery fees to Jeju.

The program provides an additional 3,000 won per delivered item, up to a maximum limit of 60,000 won per person.

Despite expectations, the number of users of the program last year was lower than expected.

Approximately 20,800 users took advantage of the support, which totaled around 780 million won.


But this month, there has been a surge in applications for the additional delivery fee support.


This is due to a simplified application process.
In addition, the previous process of entering one’s personal information for each application has been streamlined, allowing users to input their details just once.


The fixed support amount of 3,000 won per application was also eliminated, facilitating the full reimbursement of actual incurred costs.

Last year, we provided a fixed amount of KRW 3,000 per application, but this year, we will support the full amount of actual expenses upon verification.

Due to the simplification of the online application process for additional delivery fee support, there has been a substantial surge in the number of active users.


This month, 45,000 applications were received within five days, averaging 9,000 per day.

This is more than double the daily average of 3,500 applications received through community centers since March.


In Jeju, there are no age restrictions on applying for additional delivery fee support.

Furthermore, the required documents for both in-person and online applications have been simplified. Proof of additional delivery fee payments and payment details are the only required documents.


However, each person’s annual support is capped at 400,000 won.


To address the increased demand, the province has secured a budget exceeding 6 billion won. This will alleviate any immediate concerns about a premature depletion of allocated funds.



택배 추가 요금 신청 간소화에 폭증


지난해 9월부터 제주에는 택배 추가 배송비 지원 사업이 시작됐습니다.

택배나 우편물 추가 배송비를
한건당 3천원씩
1인당 최대 6만원 한도내에서 지원했습니다.

하지만 기대만큼 이용자 수는 많지 않았습니다.

지난해 택배 추가 배송비 이용자는
2만 8백여명으로
지원액은 7억 8천여만원에 그쳤습니다.


하지만 이달 들어 택배 추가 배송비 지원 신청이 폭증하고 있습니다.

택배 추가 배송비 신청 절차가 간소화됐기 때문입니다.

그동안 추가 배송비를 신청할 때마다 입력해야 했던 개인정보를
한번만 입력하도록 개선됐습니다.

또 택배비 지원액도
한번에 3천원씩 정해졌었지만
올해부터 가격 제한도 사라졌습니다.

작년에는 (신청)건당 3천원 정액으로 지원을 했었는데 올해는
실비를 증빙을 하시면 실비 전액을 지원하게 됩니다.


온라인을 통한 추가 택배비 지원 신청이 간편해지면서
실제 이용자는 급증하고 있습니다.

이달 들어 닷새만에 4만 5천여 건이 접수되는 등
하루 평균
9천여 건에 달하고 있습니다.

지난 3월부터 읍,면,동 주민센터를 통해 접수된 신청건수가
하루 평균 3천5백여 건이 것과 비교하면 갑절 이상 늘어났습니다.

제주지역은 추가 택배비 지원 신청 대상에 나이 제한이 없습니다.

필요한 서류도
방문 접수나 온라인 접수 역시
신청자의 추가 택배비 지불 내역과 결제 내역을 증빙할 서류만 제출하도록 간편해졌습니다.

다만 1인당 연간 40만원까지 지원받을 수 있습니다.

제주도는 추가 택배비 신청이 크게 늘어날 것에 대비해
60억원 이상의 예산을 확보해
예산 조기 소진 우려도 없다고 밝혔습니다.
