Jeju is lowering its prices for convenience items for beachgoers.
The Province announced that Gwakji (곽지) Beach has joined ten other beaches, including Iho (이호) and Hamdeok (함덕), in lowering parasol rental fees to 20,000 KRW.

Additionally, Hamdeok (함덕) Beach, along with Gimnyeong (김녕), Hwasun Geummorae (화순 금모래), Hyeopjae (협재), and Geumneung (금능) beaches, have also reduced their platform rental prices. Iho Tewoo (이호테우) Beach set the lowest rate in the region at 30,000 KRW.

However, Jungmun Saekdal (중문색달) Beach did not participate in the price reduction due to significant tidal variations affecting the area.

The Jeju Provincial Government plans to continue discussions with village and youth associations at all beaches to negotiate further price reductions for convenience items.



해수욕장 파라솔·평상 가격 인하 참여 확대

제주도내 해수욕장 편의 용품 가격 인하가 확대되고 있습니다.

제주특별자치도는 이호와 함덕 등 10곳에 이어 곽지 해수욕장도 파라솔 요금을 2만 원으로 낮췄다고 밝혔습니다.

평상 가격 인하에도 함덕 해수욕장에 이어 김녕, 화순금모래, 협재, 금능 해수욕장이 동참했고
이호테우해수욕장은 도내 최저가인 3만원으로 내렸습니다.

중문색달 해수욕장은 조수간만의 차가 큰 탓에 유일하게 이번 가격 인하에 동참하지 않았다고 설명했습니다.

제주도는 도내 전 해수욕장 마을회와 청년회와의 간담회를 통해 편의 용품에 대한 가격 인하를 지속적으로 협의할 방침입니다.
