Amidst ongoing high-temperature alerts in Jeju, fish farm deaths continue to increase.
The province reported that by the 8th of this month, 25 fish farms in the eastern and western regions had lost over 50,000 flatfish.

According to data from the Marine and Fisheries Research Institute, the surface water temperature along the Jeju coast remains above 30 degrees Celsius, suggesting that the damage is likely to increase further.

Jeju is conducting on-site investigations of the affected fish farms and operating mobile clinics to diagnose diseases in the fish farms.
