COVID-19 cases continue to rise, showing signs of a resurgence.

According to the Jeju Health and Environment Research Institute, COVID-19 cases have increased for five consecutive weeks since the fourth week of June.

Analysis of COVID-19-positive samples this year confirmed a rapid increase in the detection rate of a new variant, KP.3.

Jeju is strengthening its infectious disease surveillance system and urging compliance with respiratory infection prevention measures such as indoor ventilation.
