The non-smoking zone around kindergartens and daycare centers will be extended from 10 meters to 30 meters from the existing boundary, and non-smoking zones will also include areas surrounding elementary, middle, and high schools.

Those caught smoking in non-smoking zones will be fined 100,000 won. In line with the expansion of non-smoking zones, the province will install sign posts and strengthen promotional activities.

오는 17일부터 교육시설 주변 금연구역이 확대됩니다.

어린이집과 유치원은
종전 경계선으로부터 10m 이내에서 30m로 확대되고
초,중,고등학교 주변도 금연구역으로 포함됩니다.

금연구역에서
흡연을 하다 적발될 경우
10만 원의 과태료가 부과됩니다.

제주도는 금연구역 확대에 맞춰
안내 표지판을 설치하고
홍보 활동을 강화할 계획입니다.
