The Wind Harmonics Orchestra of Seogwipo Middle School won the gold medal at the 7th Korea Student Orchestra Festival held at the Hamyang (함양) Cultural and Arts Center in Gyeongnam (경남).

The orchestra performed two pieces, "Memories of Friendship" by Satoshi Yagisawa in addition to a march performance.

This gold medal is their second consecutive win, and the team is planning to hold a regular concert at the Seogwipo Arts Center this December.



서귀포중, 대한민국 학생오케스트라 페스티벌 '금상'

서귀포중학교의 윈드 하모닉스교악대가
최근 경남 함양문화예술회관에서 열린
제7회 대한민국 학생오케스트라 페스티벌에서 금상을 수상했습니다.

이번 페스티벌에서 서귀포중 교악대는
사토시 야기사와의 우정에 대한 기억 등
자유곡과 행진곡 2곡을 연주했습니다.

이번 금상 수상은 지난해에 이어 두번째로
서귀포중 교악대는
오는 12월 서귀포예술의전당에서 정기연주회를 발표할 예정입니다.
