Generous Discounts and Refunds During Chuseok


This is a large mart in Jeju City.

As Chuseok is about a week away, locals are visiting to purchase ritual items in advance.


Although high prices are making shopping burdensome, various discount events for Chuseok are helping to provide some relief.


First, until the 13th, large supermarkets nationwide, Nonghyup Hanaro Marts, and major online malls are holding a so-called 'Soprise' event, offering Hanwoo at up to 50% off.

This event was prepared to help Hanwoo farms suffering from a drop in wholesale prices and to reduce consumer price burdens.

As Chuseok approaches, prices are rising significantly. So, in partnership with the Hanwoo Management Committee, our mart is conducting the 2024 Soprise Korea Hanwoo Sale to stabilize consumer prices.


Additionally, until the 13th, major supermarkets nationwide are offering up to 24% off when purchasing pork.

With government support, 15 major Chuseok items such as apples, pears, cabbage, and eggs will also be sold at discounted prices.

I came here to shop for Chuseok. They’re offering a lot of discounts. If they continue to hold such events, it will help housewives like me cope with high prices.

Until the 15th, traditional markets nationwide are offering a refund of up to 30% on purchases of agricultural, livestock, and fishery products, with a limit of 20,000 won per person in (온누리) Onnuri gift certificates.


Separately, the province is increasing the point accumulation rate for the (탐나는전) Tamnaneunjeon pre-paid card from the previous 7% to 14% until the 22nd.


The monthly point accumulation limit is also increasing from 700,000 won to 1 million won, allowing for a maximum benefit of 140,000 won per month.


In addition, on online platforms such as e-Jeju Mall and Tamnao, Jeju products and tourism products are being sold at discounted prices, and shipping subsidies for users of traditional markets and small businesses will increase from 3,000 won to 3,500 won per order.

이번 행사는
도매가격 하락으로 시름하는 한우 농가를 돕고
소비자들의
물가 부담을 덜어주기 위해 마련됐습니다.

오는 13일까지 전국 대형마트에서는
한돈을 구매할 경우
최대 24%의 할인 혜택이 주어집니다.

또 정부 지원으로
사과와 배, 배추, 계란 등
15개 주요 추석 성수품이 할인 판매됩니다.

추석 때 쓰려고 왔거든요. 근데 많이 할인하고 있네요. 이런 행사를 많이 해서 물가를 주부들에게 그나마 저렴하게 해서 살아가는 데 좋으면 좋겠습니다.

15일까지는
전국 전통시장에서 농축수산물 구매 금액의 최대 30%를
1인당 2만원 한도에서
온누리 상품권으로 환급해주는 행사가 진행됩니다.

이와 별도로 제주도는
오는 22일까지
탐나는전 포인트 적립률을
종전 7%에서 14%로 상향 조정합니다.

매달 포인트 적립한도도
기존 70만 원에서 100만원으로 늘어나
한달 최대 14만원까지 혜택을 받을 수 있습니다.

또한 e-제주몰과 탐나오 등 온라인 플랫폼에선
제주 생산품과
관광상품이 할인 판매되고

전통시장과 골목상권 이용자에 대한
도외 발송 택배비 지원은
1건당 3천원에서 3천500원으로 늘어납니다.
