Jeju will offer public rental housing at an annual rate of 300,000 KRW and expand support for childbirth and childcare.

The Province announced a new "Population Policy Strategic Project" to respond to population decline and low birth rates, stating that starting next year, they will provide 600 units of rental housing at a monthly rent of 25,000 KRW to newlywed couples.

Additionally, they will support up to 1.5% interest on loans of up to 300 million KRW for newlywed couples who have taken out housing loans within the past seven years or families with children.

In terms of childbirth and childcare support, the existing childcare grant of 500,000 KRW for the first child will be increased to 5 million KRW, paid in installments over two years.

제주도는 인구 감소와 저출생 문제에 대응하기 위한 '인구 정책 신 전략사업' 추진계획을 발표하고 내년부터 신혼부부를 대상으로 월 임대료 2만 5천원의 임대주택 600호를 공급한다고 밝혔습니다.

또 주택 구입자금 대출을 받은 7년 이내의 신혼부부와 자녀출산 가정을 대상으로 대출금 3억원 이내에서 이자의 최대 1.5%를 지원합니다.

출생과 육아 지원 분야에서는 기존 첫아이 출생 시 50만원을 지급하던 육아지원금을 확대해 첫 자녀 출산 가정에 500만원을 2년에 걸쳐 분할 지원합니다.
