Firefighters from the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters have achieved outstanding results in the 6th Republic of Korea 119 Emergency Response Contest hosted by the National Fire Agency.

A total of 160 participants, representing 19 city and provincial fire headquarters nationwide, competed individually in four categories. Among them, Jeju’s representative, Firefighter Jeong Bu-gwan(정부관), secured 1st place overall, Firefighter Park Jun-seok(박준석) took 2nd place, Firefighter Kim Soo-young(김수영) placed 4th, and Firefighter Kim Tae-hyun(김태현) ranked 5th overall.

The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters has continued its success by maintaining its 1st-place standing in this competition for three consecutive years.

주소방안전본부 119 구급대원들이 소방청의 제6회 대한민국 119구급활동 경연대회에서 우수한 성적을 거뒀습니다.

전국 19개 시도 소방본부를 대표하는
160여명이 참가해 4개 종목에서 개인전으로 진행된 가운데 제주 대표인 정부관 소방사가 종합 1위,
박준석 소방사 종합 2위, 김수영 소방사 종합 4위,
김태현 소방사가 종합 5위를 차지했습니다.

제주소방안전본부는 이 대회에 출전해
3년 연속 1위라는 성과를 이어가고 있습니다.
