Jeju City will conduct a survey of fishing corporations by the end of the year.

The survey will cover 336 fishing corporations, including 271 fisheries cooperatives and 65 fishing companies.

Through written and on-site investigations, the survey aims to verify whether the corporations meet the requirements, review their operational status, and ensure compliance with legal business scopes.

If violations are found, Jeju City plans to take follow-up actions, including issuing corrective orders or requesting dissolution.

Last year, Jeju City took corrective orders against 38 corporations found to have violated regulations.

영어조합법인 271개, 어업회사법인 65개입니다.

이번 조사는 서면과 현장방문을 통해
어업법인 설립요건 충족여부와 운영 현황,
사업범위 적법성 등을 확인할 예정입니다.

제주시는 위법사항이 확인되면 시정명령이나
해산명령 청구 등 후속조치할 계획입니다.
