Seogwipo City will conduct a month-long survey to address elderly isolation.

The survey will focus on single-person households over 50 and new single residents who moved to Seogwipo within the past six months.

The welfare team will distribute notices and assess residents’ living conditions, social engagement, and health.

In the last survey, 2,400 households were assessed, identifying 294 high-risk cases for further support services.

서귀포시가 고독사 문제를 예방하기 위해
다음 한달간 장년층 고독사 예방 실태조사를 실시합니다.

조사 대상은 올해 하반기 50살 이상 1인 가구와
지난 상반기 이후 서귀포시로 전입한 장년층 1인 가구입니다.

읍면동 맞춤형복지팀에서 우선 안내문을 발송하고
주거환경과 사회, 경제활동, 건강 상태 등을 직접 살펴볼 예정입니다.

지난 상반기 조사에서는 1인 가구 2천 400여명을 대상으로 조사해 위험군 등 294가구를 발굴하고
기타 지원 서비스를 연계했습니다.
