On the 28th of last month, the results of a resident evaluation meeting on the “Car-Free Street Walking Event” showed that the majority agreed on the necessity of the event.

According to Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, 87% of the 53 resident participants at the meeting said the event was necessary.

Regarding the location, major downtown roads ranked the highest at 32.7%, followed by coastal roads at 12.7%.

Other issues identified included reducing inconvenience caused by traffic control, addressing a lack of facilities, and resolving negative public opinion.

Jeju Province plans to review various alternatives based on the results of this evaluation meeting

당시 평가회에 참석한
도민참여단 53명 가운데 87%가 행사가 필요하다고 답했습니다.

행사 장소와 관련해서는
도심권 대로가 32.7%로 가장 높았고
해안도로 12.7% 순으로 나타났습니다.

이 밖에 차량통제에 따른 불편 감소와
편의시설 부족, 부정적 여론 해소 등은 해결 과제로 꼽혔습니다.
