Amid ongoing debates over violations of basic rights and the effectiveness of the garage-proof system, a civic group has announced plans to file a constitutional petition, urging its abolition.

At a press conference the group stated that the garage-proof system violates the basic rights and property rights of the citizens and revealed their plan to submit a constitutional petition later this month.

The group further called on Governor Oh Young-hun to publicly announce the abolition of the garage-proof system and to hold a public debate on the issue.

Since the 22nd of last month, the group has been conducting a petition campaign for the abolition of the system, gathering over 4,100 signatures from local residents.

도민의 기본권과 재산권을 침해하고 있다며
이달 중 헌법소원을 청구할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.


그러면서 오영훈 지사에게는
차고지 증명제 폐지 선언과 함께
공개 토론회 개최를 촉구했습니다.


이 단체는
지난달 22일부터 도민들을 대상으로
차고지증명제 폐지 서명 운동을 벌여
4천100여 명의 서명을 받았습니다.
