Jeju's exports fell last month, mainly due to a decline in semiconductor shipments, the region's top export.

According to the Jeju branch of the Korea International Trade Association, the Province's total exports for the month was 15 million USD, a 15.7% drop compared to the same month last year.

Semiconductor exports dropped sharply by 49% due to sluggish global demand, while seafood and agricultural product exports also fell by 16% and 37%, respectively.

The sharp increase in aircraft parts exports helped mitigate some of the negative effects of the decline in semiconductor exports.

지난달 도내 수출액은 1천 500만 달러로
지난해 같은 달과 비교해 15.7% 감소했습니다.

품목별로 보면
글로벌 수요 침체로
효자 품목인 반도체 수출이 49% 급감했고
수산물은 16%,
농산물은 37% 각각 줄었습니다.


다만 항공기 부품 수출이 급증하면서
반도체 수출 감소 여파를 일정 부분 메운 것으로 나타났습니다
