Seongsan (성산) Elementary School has officially been designated as an International Baccalaureate World School for the primary years.

According to the Jeju Provincial Office of Education, Seongsan Elementary, which registered as an IB candidate school in November 2022, was recently certified as an IB World School following a validation visit and evaluation. It is now the sixth elementary school in Jeju to receive this recognition.

In the future, Seongsan Elementary will undergo reauthorization evaluations by the IB organization every five years, and a ceremony to celebrate the IB World School certification will be held on December 27th.

성산초등학교가 IB 초등과정 월드스쿨로 공식 지정됐습니다.

제주도교육청에 따르면
지난 2022년 11월 IB 관심학교로 등록한 성산초는
최근 검증단 방문 평가를 통해
제주지역 초등학교 가운데 여섯 번째로 IB 월드스쿨로
인증됐습니다.


성산초는 앞으로 5년마다 IB 본부의 재승인 평가를 받으며
다음 달 27일 IB 월드스쿨 인증을 기념하는 행사를 개최할 예정입니다.
