The government's budget proposal for next year passed the National Assembly's plenary session without any increase, and Jeju Island's requested budget was also not included.

The National Assembly held a plenary session and processed the government's proposed budget, which saw a reduction of 4.1 trillion won, bringing the total to 673.3 trillion won for the 2024 fiscal year.

Due to the breakdown of negotiations between the ruling and opposition parties, there were only cuts to the budget, meaning Jeju's requested additional budget of 36.8 billion won was not included.

As a result, some projects, such as the expansion of the Seobu Sewage Treatment Plant and the establishment of the National Jeju Trauma Recovery Center, are expected to face delays.

이에 따라 서부하수처리장 증설과

일부 사업에 차질이 불가피할 전망입니다.
