Resident convenience facilities in the Global Education City, Daejeong-eup (대정읍), Seogwipo (서귀포), will begin full operation.

Jeju announced that it has utilized unused space in the public administration building of the Global Education City to establish these resident convenience facilities. After two months of preparation, the facilities will officially open starting this year.

The space includes a small library, a community room, and a clubroom, all of which will be open to the public except on holidays.

In line with the area's high international population, Jeju Province has hired a new staff member with English conversation capabilities to manage and operate the facilities.

서귀포시 대정읍 영어교육도시에 마련된 주민 편의시설이 본격 운영됩니다.

제주도는
영어교육도시 공공청사 내 유휴 공간을 활용해
주민편의시설을 조성하고
두달간의 운영준비를 마치고 올해부터 본격 운영에 들어간다고
밝혔습니다.

이 곳에는 작은도서관과 커뮤니티룸, 동아리실이 마련됐으며
휴일을 제외하고 개방됩니다.

제주도는 외국인들이 많은 특성을 반영해
기본 영어회화가 가능한 시설운영 전담인력 1명이 신규로 채용해 배치했습니다.
