The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province will invest 32.8 billion KRW in animal health, hygiene, and welfare this year.

Breaking it down by sector:
- 16.2 billion KRW, the largest portion, will go towards animal disease prevention, including measures to block the entry of major infectious livestock diseases.
- 9.9 billion KRW will be allocated to welfare projects, including the establishment of a pet welfare center.
- 5.9 billion KRW will be used for the operation of an animal hygiene testing facility.

Jeju Province has outlined its policy plans and will accept applications from those wishing to participate in related subsidy programs until the end of this month.
