The Province has announced a plan to develop a Green Food Tech ecosystem by 2035.

Key elements of the strategy include developing customized strategic foods using Jeju’s unique clean resources, improving the food industry’s structure through the use of AI and renewable energy to create environmentally friendly smart manufacturing standards.

It will also leverage Jeju's characteristics as an international tourist city to develop tailored food tourism information services and provide convenient mobile ordering and payment systems.

Additionally, the plan includes the establishment of innovative infrastructure in the Jeju Science Park, such as the Green Bio Venture Campus and the Food Tech Research Support Center, to enhance the industry ecosystem's competitiveness.
Jeju Island aims to foster 50 K-RE100 companies with annual sales exceeding 5 billion KRW, produce 5 publicly listed companies, and create 500 new jobs through this strategy.

그린바이오 벤처캠퍼스와
푸드테크연구지원센터 등
혁신 기반시설을 조성해 산업 생태계 경쟁력을 강화합니다.

제주도는 이같은 전략을 통해
매출 50억 이상 K-RE100 기업 50개사 육성과
상장기업 5개사 배출,
신규 일자리 500개 창출을 목표로 삼았습니다.
