In preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year, Jeju City anticipates an increase in the consumption of livestock products for rituals and gifts. As a result, the city will carry out special hygiene inspections on livestock products until the 24th.

The inspections will focus on businesses handling livestock products, ensuring compliance with hygiene management standards and checking for false labeling of origin or livestock traceability.

If intentional or serious violations are detected during the inspections, the city plans to impose penalties such as business suspension or fines.

이에따라 축산물 취급 사업장을 대상으로
위생 관리 기준 준수와
원산지나 축산물 이력제의 허위 표시 여부 등을 점검합니다.

점검을 통해
고의성이 있거나 중대한 위반 사항이 적발되면
영업정지 또는
과태료 등을 부과할 방침입니다.
