Starting this year, support funds for the first child will be significantly increased from 500,000 KRW to 5 million KRW.

However, instead of a lump-sum payment, the support will be distributed over 5 years.

Additionally, the childcare support for second and subsequent children, which was previously provided over 5 years at 10 million KRW, will now be extended to 9 years.
To provide more stable support for child-rearing, the payments previously limited to children aged 0 to 1 will now be extended to include children up to age 8.
Jeju's total fertility rate has sharply declined from 1.22 in 2018 to 0.83 in 2023.

기존 50만원에서 500만원으로 대폭 확대합니다.

대신 일시불 지급이 아닌 5년에 나눠 지원됩니다.

또 둘째아 이상 자녀육아지원금 1천만원의 경우에도
지금까지
5년에 나눠 지원됐었지만 올해부터 9년으로 늘립니다.

현재 0살이나 한 살에 집중됐던 수당을
8살까지 지원함으로써
안정적인 양육지원을 도모하기 위한 조치입니다.

제주도의 합계출산율은
2018년 1.22명에서
2023년 0.83명으로 급격히 감소했습니다.
