During the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, which lasts until February 2nd, public parking lots will be opened for free.

The Jeju City announced that all 109 currently operating paid parking lots will be available for free during this period.

However, areas including Chilseong (칠성) Shopping Street, and Dongmun (동문) Seafood Market and the airport entrance, is expected to remain paid due to anticipated congestion, in order to ensure smooth parking circulation.

To prevent traffic issues, the city will deploy parking attendants at Dongmun (동문) Traditional Market and the public parking lot for two days, starting on January 27th, to maintain order and prevent accidents.

설 연휴가 시작되는 오는 25일에
가장 많은 4만명이 제주를 찾을 것으로 전망됐습니다.

설 연휴기간 국내선 항공편이 전년 대비 7.2% 줄어들고
소비 침체와
항공기 사고에 따른
여행심리 위축 등이 맞물리면서
관광객 감소에 영향을 끼친 것으로 보입니다.
