Expanded Housing Support for Youth and Newlyweds


The province is expanding its housing welfare programs to address the outflow of young people.


As a new initiative, the province is promoting the Jeju Youth Hope Recharge Rent Support Program.

The program extends support to young adults aged 35 to 39 who are without homes and were previously excluded from the government’s temporary special rent support program for youth.


Applications are open to those with assets below 122 million won and whose income is no greater than 60% of the median income.

Recipients will receive 200,000 won per month for up to 12 months.

Young adults aged 19 to 34 living separately from their parents will continue to receive a monthly maximum of 200,000 won for up to 24 months.


In addition, young adults without homes can receive up to 400,000 won for moving costs.

For youth and housing-vulnerable groups purchasing or renting properties valued at 300 million won or less, the province will provide up to 300,000 won to cover brokerage fees.

Support for newlyweds and families with multiple children to address declining birthrates will also continue.


Newlywed couples without homes, as well as households that gave birth to a child within the last seven years, will receive an increase of 100,000 won in interest support for rental loans. That brings the total to a maximum of 1.4 million won.

Households with multiple children, disabled members, or multicultural backgrounds will receive up to 1.8 million won, covering 2% of the loan interest.


Families without homes that have a second child or more, either through birth or adoption, will receive annual rental assistance of 2.8 million won for five years.

We aim to build a housing welfare system that Jeju residents can feel through generation- and class-specific support, addressing low birthrates and youth outflow. We will continue discovering new initiatives and expanding support to implement housing policies that satisfy our residents.

Additionally, the province plans to support over 28,500 households this year through various demand-driven programs tailored to vulnerable groups.



주거복지 확대…"무주택 청년·신혼부부 지원"


제주도가
도내 청년 인구 유출 등에 대응해
주거복지 지원사업을 확대합니다.

우선 신규사업으로
제주청년 희망 충전 월세지원 사업을 추진합니다.

그동안 정부의 청년월세 한시 특별지원에서 제외됐던
35살에서 39살의
무주택 청년 세대주까지 지원을 확대하는 겁니다.



기준중위소득 60% 이하의
재산가액 1억 2천200만 원 이하면 신청이 가능하고
매달 20만 원 씩
최대 12개월 간 지원됩니다.

부모와 별도 거주하는
19살에서 34살의 무주택 청년에 대해서는
기존처럼
월 최대 20만 원을 24개월 동안 지급합니다.


또, 무주택 청년이 이사하는 경우
최대 40만 원을 지급하고
청년과 주거취약계층이
3억 원 이하 주택을
매매하거나 전월세 계약 시
최대 30만 원의 중개수수료를 지원합니다.

저출생 극복을 위한
신혼부부와 다자녀 가구 등에 대한 주거 지원도 계속 이어갑니다.

무주택 신혼부부와
7년 이내 자녀 출산가구의 경우
전세대출 이자의 1.5%를
기존보다 10만 원 증액된
최대 140만 원이 지원됩니다.

다자녀 가구와
장애인, 다문화 가구는
대출 이자의 2%, 최대 180만 원까지
지원받을 수 있습니다.


또, 둘째 자녀 이상 출산 또는 입양한
무주택 가정의 경우
주거임차비가
5년 동안 연 280만 원이 지원됩니다.
