Jeju City will add four more eco-friendly electric low-floor buses to Aewol-eup (애월읍) this year.

The newly introduced electric buses can travel up to 374 km on a full charge and can accommodate 40 passengers.

Being low-floor buses, they are expected to help alleviate public transportation difficulties for people with disabilities and the elderly.

In addition to the new buses, Jeju City plans to install two more charging stations at the Hagwi (하귀) public bus turnaround in Aewol-eup (애월읍).

제주시가 올해 친환경 전기 저상버스 4대를
애월읍에 추가 도입합니다.

이번에 도입 예정인 전기버스는 완충시 374km를 운행할 수 있고,
40명이 탑승할 수 있습니다.

특히, 저상버스여서
장애인이나 노약자 등 교통약자의 대중교통 이용 불편 해소가
기대됩니다.

제주시는 전기버스 추가 도입에 따라
애월읍 내 하귀 공영버스 회차지에 충전기 2대도 추가 설치할 계획입니다.
