Jeju Province and Jeju National University have partnered with Princeton University to launch a global "learncation" program, which combines learning with vacation.

This is the first of its kind agreed with a prestigious foreign university, aiming to provide opportunities for international students to experience both academic learning and cultural immersion in Jeju.

Under this agreement, approximately 15 Princeton University students will visit Jeju National University this June.

Princeton, founded in 1746,
is a prestigious Ivy League university in the U.S.
It has ranked first in Forbes' U.S. University rankings
for two consecutive years in 2024
and has produced two U.S. Presidents,
as well as numerous Nobel laureates,
Fields Medalists, and Pulitzer Prize winners.

학습과 휴가를 결합한 글로벌 런케이션을 추진하기로 했습니다.

제주도가
해외 유수 대학과 맺는 첫 런케이션 협약으로
외국대학 학생들이
제주에서 학습과 문화를
동시에 체험할 수 있도록 지원하게 됩니다.

이번 협약으로
프린스턴대학교 학생 15명 내외가 오는 6월 제주대를 방문할 예정입니다.

프린스턴대는
1746년에 설립된 미국 아이비리그 명문대학으로
2024년 포브스 선정
미국 대학 순위 평가에서 2년 연속 1위를 차지했고
역대 미국 대통령 2명과
다수의 노벨상, 필즈상, 퓰리처상 수상자를 배출했습니다.
