The free parking time at public parking lots in Jeju will be temporarily extended.

Jeju announced that the free parking time at 127 paid public parking lots across the island will be extended
from 30 minutes to one hour until March 31.

However, this extension will not apply to nine privately-operated parking lots, Including the Chilseong (칠성) Shopping Mall parking lot.

This decision follows a proposal made during the Jeju Provincial Assembly’s Standing Policy Council meeting on January 23, aimed at stimulating the local economy and easing the financial burden on residents.

제주도내 공영주차장 무료 주차 시간이 한시적으로 확대됩니다.

제주특별자치도는
도내 유료 공영주차장 127곳의 무료 주차시간을
3월 31일까지 30분에서 1시간으로 늘립니다.

다만 칠성상가 주차장 등
민간위탁 주차장 9곳에는 적용되지 않습니다.

이번 조치는
지난 23일 제주도와 제주도의회 상설정책협의에서
지역경제 활성화를 유도하고
도민 경제 부담을 덜어주기 위한 차원에서 건의돼 결정됐습니다.
