Due to the economic downturn and high interest rates, the success rate of real estate auctions in Jeju last month reached its lowest point in history.

According to data from the real estate auction company GG Auction,
there were 321 real estate auctions in Jeju last month, but only 56 properties were successfully auctioned, resulting in a success rate of 17.4%.

This marks the lowest success rate since data has been available in 2001, and it is the second lowest among 17 provinces and cities nationwide, following Gyeongnam's (경남) 14.5%.

GG Auction explained that while the number of auctions has increased, the weakened investment sentiment due to the economic downturn and high interest rates has led to a decline in the success rate.

지난달 제주지역 부동산 경매 낙찰률이 역대 최저치에 그쳤습니다.

경매 공매 데이터 전문기업 지지옥션에 따르면
지난달 제주도내 부동산 경매 진행건수는 321건으로
이중 56건만 낙찰되면서
낙찰률 17.4%를 기록했습니다.

이는 관련 통계가 제공된 2001년 이후 역대 최저치로
전국 17개 시도 가운데에선
14.5%의 경남에 이어 두 번째로 낮았습니다.

지지옥션은
경매 진행건수가 늘고 있지만
경기 침체와 고금리 등으로
투자 심리가 위축되면서
낙찰률이 하락했다고 설명했습니다.
