Jeju Seeks Elderly Rights Monitors

Jeju City is publicly recruiting 50 human rights monitors for elderly medical and welfare facilities until the 26th of this month.

Applicants must be Jeju citizens with a strong interest in human rights protection and must not be working in the facilities being monitored. The term of service will be one year from the date of appointment.

Selected human rights monitors will be responsible for conducting facility rights monitoring, providing counseling for residents' concerns, and taking action in cases of abuse, neglect, or human rights violations, including recommending corrective measures to local authorities.

신청 자격은
점검시설에 종사하지 않는
인권보호에 관심이 높은 제주시민 등으로
임기는
위촉일로부터 1년입니다.

선발된 인권지킴이는
시설 인권 모니터링과 입소자 애로사항 등을 상담하고
학대나 방임,
인권 침해 사례 발생 시
지자체 시정 권고 통보 등의 역할을 하게 됩니다.
