The Jeju World Heritage Headquarters is enhancing its monitoring of foreign and sudden pest outbreaks caused by abnormal weather conditions and international trade.

Surveys will be conducted not only in pine forests but also in major tourist areas and roadsides to detect pest infestations and
assess the risk of invasive species.

Additionally, intensive pest surveillance will be carried out on island regions, which could serve as transmission routes for foreign or sudden pests.

Furthermore, pesticide control trials will be conducted for emerging pest outbreaks, with plans to register effective pesticides for official use.

국제교역 과정에서 발생할 수 있는
외래 또는 돌발 병해충 예찰을 강화합니다.

소나무 임지는 물론
주요 관광지나 도로변에서의
병해충 발생과 함께
침입 우려종에 대한 조사를 진행합니다.

또 외래 또는 돌발 병해충의 전파 경로가 될 수 있는
도서 지역에 대해서도
병해충 정밀 예찰조사를 실시합니다.

이와 함께
돌발해충 발생에 대한
농약방제시험 연구를 실시해
방제농약으로의 등록을 추진할 예정입니다.
