Jeju’s consumer sentiment index is showing a slight rebound but remains below the benchmark.

According to the Bank of Korea’s Jeju branch, the region’s consumer sentiment index for this month reached 88.1, rising 2.5 points from the previous month, marking its first increase in three months.

By category, both the current financial situation and future financial outlook indices showed an upward trend.

A consumer sentiment index below 100 indicates that more households perceive the economic situation negatively than positively.

제주지역 소비자심리지수가 소폭 회복했지만
여전히 기준치를 밑돌고 있습니다.

이달 제주도내 소비자심리지수는 88.1로
전월 대비 2.5포인트 오르며 3개월 만에 상승 전환했습니다.

항목별로 보면
가계 재정 상황에 대한 인식을 보여주는
현재생활형편과 생활현평전망지수가 나란히 상승했습니다.

소비자심리지수가
100보다 작으면 경제상황을 부정적으로 보는 가구가
더 많다는 의미입니다.
