Jeju City is conducting food safety inspections on frequently consumed items sold at major supermarkets and online delivery apps.

Key inspection targets include high-risk products based on recent consumption trends and seasonal demand, as well as prepared meals from delivery apps.

If a product fails inspection, Jeju City will promptly notify the relevant businesses and implement recall measures.

Last year, Jeju City conducted 1,200 inspections on agricultural, seafood, and processed food products, detecting and addressing five non-compliant cases.

제주시는
검사 결과 부적합 판정 시
해당 기관과 영업자에게 즉시 통보하고
식품 회수 등의 조치를 취할 계획입니다.

한편 제주시는
지난해 농수산물과 가공식품 등
1천200건에 대한
수거 검사를 실시해
부적합 제품 5건을 적발해 조치했습니다.
