Jeju is expanding its support programs to reduce disposable items across both the private and public sectors.

Firstly, all public institutions in the region will completely ban the use of disposable items, and the government will provide funding to support the use of reusable containers at private events and festivals.

Additionally, starting in the second half of this year, a pilot program will be introduced in the Yeondong (연동) and Nohyeong-dong (노형동) areas of Jeju City to promote the use of reusable containers for food delivery app orders.

Furthermore, the province plans to support the use of reusable containers and the installation of tumbler cleaning machines at major public campsites, campgrounds, and sports facilities.

우선 도내 공공기관에서 일회용품 사용을 전면 금지하고
민간 행사나 축제에서
다회용기를 사용할 수 있도록 예산을 지원합니다.

또 올해 하반기부터
배달앱으로 음식을 주문할 때
다회용기를 사용하고 지원하는 사업을
제주시 연동과 노형동에 시범 도입할 예정입니다.

이 밖에도
도내 주요 공공 캠핑장과 야영장, 체육시설에
다회용기 사용과
텀블러 세척기 설치 등을 지원할 계획입니다.
