With domestic flight capacity reduced and travel demand on the rise, airline tickets for the upcoming May Golden Holiday are already selling out fast.

According to the travel industry, for the holiday weekend in May, there is currently only one available flight from Gimpo to Jeju on the 3rd, and all flights on the 5th and 6th to Jeju are already sold out.

Amid the airline ticket shortage, the price of a one-way standard seat is currently between 120,000 and 130,000 KRW.

The ticket crisis during the holiday period is worsening as airlines cut domestic flights and increase more profitable international routes.
