Jeju Province has established and begun implementing its 2024 plan to revitalize the island’s cruise industry.

Key initiatives include the installation of 38 self-service immigration kiosks to speed up entry procedures and the introduction of large-scale, accessible gangways designed specifically for cruise passengers.

To promote the use of local supplies, Jeju will offer incentives for purchasing local agricultural and marine products and strengthen related marketing efforts.

In addition, Jeju will operate cruise programs in preparation for becoming a homeport.

The island will also develop shore excursion programs targeting solo travelers with a focus on traditional markets and local attractions.

Jeju expects to welcome around 300 cruise ships and 800,000 visitors this year.

올해 제주 크루즈산업 활성화 시행계획을 수립해 시행합니다.

주요내용을 보면
크루즈 입국심사 시간 단축을 위한 무인심사대 38대와
무장애 관광을 위한
대형 크루즈 전용 승강로를 도입합니다.

또 제주산 선용품 납품 확대를 위해
제주산 농수산물 우선 구매에 따른 인센티브를 제공하고
이에 대한 마케팅도 강화합니다.

이와 함께 준모항 추진에 따른 내국인 대상 크루즈 체험단을 운영하고
개별관광객 대상 전통시장이나
도내 관광지 등 기항 프로그램을 개발합니다.

제주도는 올해
300여척에 80만 명의 관광객이 제주를 방문할 것으로 예상하고 있습니다.
