Seogwipo City is providing financial assistance for glasses purchases to low-income senior citizens.

Eligible recipients include seniors aged 65 and older who are receiving basic livelihood benefits or belong to the next lower income tier. They can receive up to 70,000 KRW once every three years.

To apply, seniors need to visit their local community center with a prescription or a receipt for glasses purchase.

However, purchases made for cosmetic purposes, rather than vision correction, are excluded from the program.

지원 대상은
기초생활수급자와 차상위계층에 속하는 65살 이상 어르신으로
3년에 1회에 한해
최대 7만 원까지 지원받을 수 있습니다.

신청은
주소지 읍면동 주민센터를 방문해
처방전이나 안경 구입 영수증을 제출하면 됩니다.

다만 시력 교정 외
미용 목적으로 구입하는 경우는 제외됩니다.
