Multiple road construction projects across Jeju have been suspended due to budget issues.

According to the Jeju Provincial Council, construction at over 40 sites, launched since 2021 has come to a standstill.

The total cost of these projects exceeds 100 billion KRW, but rising material prices and design changes have led to the need for additional budget negotiations.

Jeju authorities plan to prioritize construction at sites where traffic disruption and safety risks are highest.

도로 사업장 40여 곳의 공사가 현재 멈춰 있습니다.

공사비만 1천 억 원이 넘는데 물가 인상과 설계 변경 등의 이유로
관련 예산 협의가 필요한 것으로 전해지고 있습니다.

제주도는
교통 불편과 안전 사고 위험 등이 높은 사업장을 중심으로
우선 공사를 진행할 계획입니다.
