Revenue from foreigner-only casinos in Jeju saw a significant increase last year.

According to the Provincial Government, the total revenue from eight foreigner-only casinos on the island reached 458.9 billion KRW in 2023, an increase of approximately 80% compared to the
previous year.

As a result, casino-related tax contributions also rose by 85%, reaching 43.2 billion KRW.

The growth is attributed to the resumption of international flights and the expansion of direct routes to Jeju.

지난해 제주지역 외국인 전용 카지노 매출액이 크게 증가했습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 지난해 도내 외국인 전용 카지노 8곳의 매출액은 4천 589억 원으로 전년보다 80% 가량 늘었습니다.

이에 따른 카지노 납부금도 432억 원으로 전년보다 85% 증가했습니다.
