Starting this July, Jeju Province will operate a Financial Welfare Counseling Center to support residents' economic recovery.

The center will be managed by the Jeju Credit Guarantee Foundation and will offer one-stop services, ranging from debt adjustment consulting to linking residents with welfare services such as employment and housing.

It will assess the type and amount of debt and propose optimal debt adjustment solutions tailored to each situation.

The number of personal rehabilitation (bankruptcy) applications in Jeju has been steadily rising, from 1,200 cases in 2022 to 1,700 in 2023, and 1,900 last year.

제주도가 오는 7월부터
도민들의 경제적 재기를 지원하는 금융복지상담센터를 운영합니다.

센터는 제주신용보증재단에 위탁 운영되며
채무조정 컨설팅에서부터
일자리와 주거 등 복지서비스를 연계하는 원스톱 서비스를 제공합니다.

특히 채무성격과 채무액을 파악한 후
상황에 맞는 최적의 채무조정 방안을 제시합니다.

제주도내 개인회생 신청자는
2022년 1천 200건에서
2023년 1천 700건,
지난해 1천 900건으로 해마다 늘고 있습니다.
