Jeju Province has launched its first-half electric scooter subsidy program for private citizens, aiming to distribute 350 units by July 31.

This year, households with newborns are newly eligible for support. The base subsidy remains up to 3 million KRW, with additional assistance available for people with disabilities, low-income earners, small business owners, and farmers.

The province plans to assess the program’s progress and budget before announcing a second round of subsidies in August.
